Southern Green Stink Bug Nezara viridula June 2004

What does a stink bug smell like? I am happy to say that I do not know. Anything called "stinkbug" is automatically given a wide berth by the Twisty olfactory glands.

Stink bugs are fruit suckers, and this one was hanging out on the roof of my car affecting a smug, delinquent demeanor, not far from the fig tree it had just lunched on.
